About Jamie
Hello, I'm Jamie! When people ask me if I'm a dog or cat person, I always reply with, "Both!" I grew up with both dogs and cats in California, and feel a connection with both animals. We adopted my first cat when I was just 2 years old (his name was Jackson), and 35 years later my family has owned a total of 5 cats, 3 dogs, a bird, 1 rabbit, and even 2 very cute rats! I absolutely loved growing up with animals, and still take every chance I can to spend time with them to this day.
When my friends go out of town or just need a walker/sitter, my husband (Jason) and I are usually the first people they think of. Not only because animals seem to love us as much as we love them (which works out well!) but also because we are reliable, trustworthy and treat your pets the way you would. I listen to your needs and make sure that we're meeting your standards of care.
One thing to know about me is that I'm a professional photographer! I love to take photos of pets, and don't be surprised if you get a couple great snaps while you're away. I've added a couple professional shots into my photo gallery mix but, mostly the photos are of dogs and cats I've known throughout the years.
We have signed up with Madpaws again after moving to Dee Why, and we're looking for a couple regular dogs and/or cats to take care of and get to know in the Dee Why area. We don't own our own dog or cat (yet), so this is our way of getting the chance to spend time with the animals we love. My husband and I are American expats living happily here in Australia.
We are both avid daily walkers, and would love to walk with your dog if you need. We also are happy to take care of your pets in your home or ours. We are very clean, nonsmokers and goodhearted humans. I know you are too, and think we'll get along just as good as we will with your pet(s)!

Jamie has looked after our cavoodle Arthur on numerous occasions & I completely trust that she looks after him & treats him as her own. He loves her & even when I walk him past her house he tries to go see her! I thoroughly recommend her. She is a beautiful person as a bonus to being a complete animal lover with a heart of gold ☺️

It is so important to us who we leave our dog with when we go away for a few days, and even more so for a week at a time. That is why I am especially honored & delighted to write a review on behalf of our dog's pet sitter, Jamie Kennedy. From the first time we met Jamie, we felt completely comfortable with her, and how she enthusiastically & genuinely related to our dog Pepper, as well as how Pepper immediately gravitated to Jamie. We've had pet sitters in the past who were friendly enough, but didn't have that natural instinct for caring for a pet as we have found with Jamie. We rave about her to our friends and family, yet we also realize that too much raving just might cause us to lose our favorite pet sitter, and Pepper's too, to other families, lol! In highly recommending Jamie Kennedy for pet sitting, we feel fully confident that she will not only meet, but rather exceed your expectations!

Jamie has looked after our two Burmese on several occasions. One of our cats is normally quite shy but Jamie won her over in record time. Jamie is the best cat sitter we've ever had and she will keep you Furbies happy and healthy in your absence. My kitties and I look forward to Jamie helping out again in the future!
