I am an animal lover at heart and have been my whole life. I was born and raised into a family that has always loved and owned pets and I have been surrounded by them since infancy. I have owned 4 precious dogs, 2 rabbits and a cat who had a litter of kittens which I was responsible for caring. I currently own 2 very small, friendly, well trained, inside dogs which I have become extremely bonded to, so much so that they even sleep on my bed! I am responsible for feeding, grooming, walking and generally looking after them. I also just recently got another small rabbit which I also care for. I have a spacious and secure back yard, with plenty of lush grass for any pet to enjoy, inside living arrangements can also be made. I live with my mother who is also an animal lover and is more than happy to welcome any pet to our home. If you have any concerns in regards to my animals interacting with yours, this won't be an issue as my pets have their own room which they are happy to stay in, however my animals are all very gentle and friendly.
I have also completed a few weeks of work experience at my local Veterinary hospital where I acquired several skills which have only improved my animal skills. I was responsible for supervising and nurturing pets’ pre and post surgeries as well as managing a hygienic environment. I was also expected to assists veterinary surgeons in multiple operations, which required a high level of diligence and concentration. I believe the knowledge I accumulated throughout this opportunity would make me a reliable candidate for caring for anyone's little loved ones.
I am happy to accommodate the need of your pet as each pet has their own, unique personality and sticking to their typical daily routine at home will help them to feel more comfortable while they stay with us. Our family will also gladly spoil them with lots of love and cuddles (and the occasional treat!) as we do our own. In our home, your pet is free to sleep where ever they please, whether that be the couch, bed, in their own bed next to mine, or in a separate room if that's what they're used to.
In terms of feeding your pet, I will only follow your instruction on what exactly to feed them as you know what they like and enjoy, even if that means cooking fresh meat daily.
I completely understand and recognise that animals are much like family members and should be treated as such, so i'm happy to adjust anything or accept familiar belongings of your pet to maximise their enjoyment and make them feel safe and comfortable, while they stay for however long. I know how stressful it can be leaving your pets as they are much like children, so feeling secure and as though you can trust the carer means that you can feel relaxed and rest assured that your fur babies are in capable, loving care. ...
