About Sharon

Hello! My name Sharon. I'm a qualified veterinary nurse. I've been pet sitting in people's homes for about 10 years. Mostly cats and dogs but I have also looked after guinea pigs, gerbils, mice, rats, rabbits, birds and fish. I grew up with dogs and cats. I've always been interested in animals and loved their company. They are so unconditionally loving, have a joy for life and really know how to live in the moment. I enjoy making sure that they are safe, comfy and have everything they need. It's lovely to get to know each animal's individual personality and then interact with them accordingly.
I like to do pet sitting as it allows me time with animals outside of my job and I also get to see different parts of the city. Due to my living circumstances I haven't been able to have my own pets for some time so working with them and pet sitting them gives me that interaction. I know it is a huge thing to trust somebody to look after your precious pet(s) and to allow someone to be in your home, so I take the responsibility very seriously and appreciate the trust given to me.

Please note that currently I work full time so can be out of the house up to 8 or 9 hours for 5 days a week. When I'm not working I'm a homebody so enjoy being with the pets I'm looking after for all or most of the day. I know that working full time doesn't suit some pets, especially some dogs.
