About Emily

Hi! My name is Emily and I’m 26 years old, currently located in Eltham. I have a Bachelor of Animal and Veterinary Bioscience (La Trobe University) and I’m currently studying my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Melbourne University) so you can trust that your pets will be in the best hands possible.
I'm truly myself when I'm surrounded by animals- they're absolutely my calling in life. I have experience with all kinds; from cats and dogs to parrots, tropical fish, dingoes, livestock and reptiles. I own my own car and am always readily contactable. The walking tracks in Eltham are gorgeous and I've never met a dog who hasn't had an amazing time while staying with us!

We share our home with a young puppy so your pets will have company and this may affect compatibility; please know I do require a meet and greet with your dog if they are coming to stay, just to make sure they get along well. If your pets come to stay with me they will also be living with my family; my parents and 23-year-old brother.

My uni schedule is intense so I am generally only available to pet sit during school holidays or some weekends. I also only offer dog walking as part of pet hosting as I do not have regular time to commit to travelling for this, but feel free to ask me if there is a special circumstance or one-off house visit required (ESPECIALLY if medications are to be administered- I understand not all pet sitters are able to do so and I am professionally trained as a veterinary nurse/vet student). I send regular photo updates with every stay, but if you have any special requests or concerns please feel free to contact me and ask.
