About Sophia

Having grown up with dogs of my own, I understand how hard it is to leave them with a sitter. That is why is it so important to me that I make sure they have a safe and loving place to stay while you’re away. We are a family who loves and enjoys dogs and my parents always help and support me to look after your dog while they stay with us.

I’ve been looking after other people’s dogs through Mad Paws for over three years. During this time, I have looked after many different types of dog breeds such as German Shepherd’s, Alaskan Malamute, Huskies, Golden Retriever, Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Border Collie, Beagle, Bull Mastiffs, Bulldog, American Staffordshire Terrier, Australian Kelpie and even a Great Dane. I know that every dog has a different personality and routine, and I make sure to cater to their individual needs.

I love taking dogs to the dog park for a play, but if your dog isn’t as social, Dad and I know lots of nice walking spots that we can visit. We have a large fully fenced yard with lots of shade and a protected undercover area where your dog would sleep overnight. I really enjoy playing ball, tug of war with the rope toy, or just sitting and cuddling with your dog and treating them as if they were part of my own family.
