About Kristy

Hello, I have decided to go along my journey in life supporting dogs to feel loved in my home. I am now doing this with out my Soul mate that has been laid down to rest in 2022. I now own a 2 year old Greyhound that has made so many friends since she came home a few weeks before Christmas and our journey together started. When your dog comes to stay my home it will feel like theirs . I am always home and have enough love to share around. If I have more than one dog and I need to create seperate areas for care for a dog. I have areas and barriers to make this possible. I like to give dogs as much safe freedom as possible so this is only done if needed. There is so much comfort and love for your dog when visiting. I can actually become quite bonded to your dog so always keep a loving place in my heart to keep them when they are picked up. When they do re visit I can become excited like I'm just about to catch up with a friend.  Plenty of safe spaces for your dog to relax, nap, eat or play.  I am surrounded by beautiful park lands and walking tracks.
I only offer services from my own home as I have a dog of my own and can't go to other houses. I feel most comfortable in my own home as I know the set up and the environment that I'm working from. I also know locally safe areas. Also what dog would suit a certain park around my area best. I give you a questionnaire that helps me understand what you think is right for your dog.
I offer overnight pet sitting and day sitting in a comfortable clean home environment where your dog will have cuddles throughout the day.
I also offer dog walks if you would like this to be included.
I am home almost all day the only times I am not is when I have important medical appointments or out walking dogs.
I usually walk dogs from 30 - 60 mins but I can walk longer if needed.
I am available anytime to care for dogs as it's all I do Dogs have been my best friends my entire life. I am happiest when I am with dogs. They always give me unconditional love this is a blessing that makes me smile and laugh everyday while I build my friendship with them.  I understand they may be anxious when away from home. I understand this, and do all can to support them to feel relaxed and at peace with me and being in a new environment called home for now.
I know dogs get lonely and anxious especially at night without their owners. I do my best to comfort them and they sleep on my bed if they don't settle. I can never let them cry or bark to much otherwise I feel uncomfortable because I care for them.
I am always watching and keeping an eye on dogs and give them all my attention and cuddles throughout the day and night. You dog will always be cared for I talk sing dance, walk and play with them.
I know the best ways to work with dogs to communicate with them in verbal and non verbal ways. I never yell or will be cruel to them. I always wanted to learn more about making them happy because when dogs are happy I feel complete. I enjoy getting to know there individual personalities.
They are all different just like we are and I have a passion to give them this respect.

I have always owned a dog and have had many happy experiences with all dog breeds that are big and small.

I have decided to do my work for dogs comfort now with in my home.
I feel a need to give back to dogs because they have always touched my life and heart in so many ways. I know my meaning to live life is to save all the dogs that need love and care at times in there lives. This is worth my time to give my best. The more I connect to your dog with happiness the more I feel complete that I am Giving with the means to love unconditionally. Giving back to dogs the way they give to us and our lives.

I am surrounded by beautiful park lands and walking tracks. I have shared plenty of happy memories in Frank street park and Ballam Park.

Dogs have been my best friends my entire life. I am happiest when I am with dogs, their unconditional love is what makes me smile and laugh everyday.

I understand they may be anxious when away from home, but I understand this and I do all I can to support them to feel relaxed and at peace with me.

Being able to give comfort to my customers and dogs that visit gives me so much happiness knowing that I can offer a place while giving from my heart that cares to give and connect to a passion in my life. I hope I can share this with you.
