About Samantha
A LITTLE ABOUT ME :I am a very passionate animal lover and lucky to be so happy in my career! I have been working as a veterinary technician at a marine mammal rescue centre in Canada for the past year and have just returned home to Sydney to my long term job as a Specialist Surgery Nurse and in patient care nurse at the Small Animal Specialist Hospital (SASH) which is where I worked for 3 years prior to my Canada move. I'm extremely experienced in all aspects of animal care, working as a fully qualified Vet Nurse for 8 years, working my way up to my dream positions, surrounded by the most respected in my industry, and working at one of the best Veterinary Hospitals in the county. I have also volunteered and studied at Taronga Conservation Society and other animal orginizations around the world. Working with animals is my dream, career choice, passion and happiness!
MY HOUSE/PET SITTING EXPERIENCE :I pet sat for 12 months leading up to my Canada travels and have previous pet/Housesitting experience from my time working at Seafoth Veterinary Hospital, Including both long stay, overnight and day visits (for medicating and feeding), over a period of about 18 months. I met all of my clients through the Veterinary Hospital I worked at. I am lucky enough to be based around the North Shore and northern beaches, perfect places to take dogs out for a play and stretch their legs. I like taking furry friends out for a little coffee break in the nice weather as well as give them an abundance of love and cuddles when they are at home. I am very respectful and tidy and believe strongly in treating others property as I would want someone to treat mine, your house would be very well looked after during my stay.
In closing I hope to meet plenty of new friends on my Mad Paws venture, both fur friends and people friends.
