Hi! I'm Claire, a long time animal lover and carer. After working for one of the UK's largest cat and dog adoption shelters, I have gained extensive experience with all kinds of breeds and temperaments. I also previously ran my own small dog walking business (pre motherhood), and worked for a major Australian animal protection organisation, caring for all sorts of animals from lambs, to orphan joeys and even bats!

At the moment, having my own pet is a little more than I can commit to, but I greatly miss having one in my life - hence, Madpaws!

I work flexibly from home 90% of the time and have plenty of time and attention to devote to a dog. 

A typical day with me would involve long walks, play time, and snuggling up next to me while I work. If dogs enjoy the car, they're also welcome to accompany me to school pickup and drop off. 

An overnight stay would involve a cosy bed indoors, and lots of love and attention - with the dog coming along to any adventures we go on, and never being left alone. 

I have a 5 year old child, so can only accept dogs that are safe and comfortable with children. My child is very gentle and aware of the needs of animals.
