I’m a 32yo female living in Geelong CBD and currently studying a double certification with majority of the workload done off campus from home.
I love dogs and have loads of experience with all breeds and I’m confident being with up to 10 dogs at one time. Sounds excessive and I don’t opt for that many but I thought it would be a good indication of my comfort levels.
I consider myself to be the alpha among all the fur kids and doesn’t take long for them to learn their place around me. I’m not afraid of dogs in any way, even when they fight (which occurs with maybe 1 out of 50 dogs) I’m quick to react and use a strong tone of voice when necessary.
I don’t hit the dogs or ever purposely hurt them, this method of punishment doesn’t work at all and has the potential to teach the dog aggressive behaviour.
I’ve learned a lot from looking after dogs, I’m pretty in tune with their body language and particular behaviours.
They seem to respond well to me and learn the house rules relatively quickly just from observing my fur kids and our routines.
Any more info, flick me a message and I’ll respond as soon as I can.
