About Trefor

My wife and I are both retired teachers who have owned dogs for most of our adult lives. Now that we are retired and our beloved Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Monty and Carlo, have gone to the big kennel in the sky we are available to share our home and love for animals with dogs inbetween our travels. We have a huge fully fenced backyard on a secluded battleaxe block and plenty of good walks in the neighbourhood. Over the years we have made many good friends through our dog walking.

We looked after my mother’s elderly and infirm dog, Max, when she went into residential care and ook him him to visit her most days. We also adopted our son’s Foxy/Jack Russell cross, Roxy, when he left home. We understand that your pet is a beloved member of your family. We always took our dogs with us on domestic holidays and they shared our home just like a family member.

You will be able to rest assured that your dog(s) will be well cared for in a safe, warm and caring environment and we will keep you well informed on how the stay is progressing.

You will need to provide your pet’s bedding and food bowl as we donated ours to RSPCA at Katoomba after our last dog passed away.

We treat your pet as if he/she were at home with you. If your pet is allowed on the furniture at home he/she is allowed on the furniture here. If your dog sleeps on your bed at home he/she sleeps on our bed here. Plenty of playtime and cuddles are mandatory!
