Hi 👋 My name is Linda, I'm 64 years old, semi retired. Love all animals. I've recently been to Africa to see the native animals of the Serengeti, the big 5, what an adventure that was. I've also been to Alaska & Canada and I went on a tour to see the bears 🐻 fishing in the wild for salmon. Next year I'm going to Canada to visit the polar bears in Churchill. I much prefer to see animals free and wild than locked up in a zoo. Though I do realise not everyone has had the same opportunities to travel and zoos are a place to visit for those who are interested.
Aside from my travels I drive buses part time and spend as much time as I can with my spoilt little fur kid, 2 adult sons, grandchildren & my older parents. Although I could find work in the mining industry, driving buses to and from the mine sites, I've chosen to stay home and close by to my elderly parents who live independently but they are both in their mid eighties now and I know I'm on borrowed time. They too both love dogs so your pooch will not go short of love and attention whilst they stay at my home.
I have had years of experience with pets, having had cats, dogs, Guinea pigs, rabbits, birds and many friends with pets I've cared for in their absence. My back yard is fully fenced and grassed, my home is their home too. If they prefer their own beds that's fine, but I'm not adverse to them sharing the bed if they don't steal my blankets 😁
I'd love to meet up and have a short play date getting to know your precious fur baby and hope mine plays nicely, she's sometimes shy on her first meeting but will never bite.
