Over the last year or so, my Border Collie, Missie, has spent some fantastic “holidays” with MadPaws hosts, when I’ve had to go away. I loved knowing that instead of being stuck in a square box at a boarding kennel, she had the freedom to roam and play with other dogs under the caring supervision of fellow dog lovers. So, to help cover the costs of our upcoming wedding, my fiancée and I decided to offer the same great experience to other dog owners out there, who want to know their fur baby is being cared for and receiving loads of attention.
A bit about what we have to offer (aside from lots of pats and cuddles!)… we live on a four acre block with heaps of room for your dog to run and play. We have recently completed a huge secure dog run (approx. 30msq), which has plenty of shade from numerous trees and a smaller, covered dog run. Two cameras monitor the dog run and we can give you access to the camera feed if you like, so you can check in on your fur baby every now and then (we’re also more than happy to message photos and updates). The dog run is connected to the house by a doggie door, allowing the dogs freedom to come in and out of the house as they choose.
Missie is super friendly and just loves making new fur friends and running around with them, so your dog will get plenty of exercise! We also have a cat, Oreo, who loves interacting and playing with Missie… I’ll be honest, she’s the one who rules the roost, with Missie her most devoted follower! ? My fiancée and I both work from home, which means your fur baby will get plenty of human interaction as well and won’t be shut outside for long periods of the day.
We both love animals and have a great deal of respect for all dog breeds. We’d love to get to know your dog and if you have any questions, please feel free to get in touch.
We look forward to hearing from you,
Steve and Kirsten.
