ABOUT ADRIAN AND STEPH
We have officially been sitting through Mad Paws since 2019 and have loved every minute of meeting new dogs and continuing to look after old ones. This has allowed us to have experience caring for dogs of different sizes, ages and behaviors. At this point in time we have a pretty flexible lifestyle which allows one of us to be home on most occasions. This is super beneficial for some owners who require Day Care due to dogs with severe separation anxiety.

OUR DOG CASPER
Casper is a Beagle cross Cavalier who we both love unconditionally. She is 9 years old now and does spend a decent amount of time relaxing. She can come across very vocal upon arrivals and meeting new dogs but that is pure excitement. She is very well behaved with other dogs and has never shown any aggression to any dog. Ensuring Casper is not distressed in any way with a dog is our number 1 priority. Due to this, if we feel that she is unhappy with the dog at the meet and greet we will not be looking after your dog.

OUR PLACE
We are located in Hallett Cove and have a nice size house and backyard for your dogs needs. Your dog will have access to both inside the house and outside through access of our doggie door. The whole back yard is fenced and gated, however, escape artist dogs may not be secured in our yard. Please note that we do have a retaining wall in our backyard which accesses the grass, this may be a concern for dogs who are blind or poor vision but this can be resolved with pulling down blinds etc.

THE PROCESS
Once you have sent your booking through, we will ensure those dates are available and check your dogs profile online. It is important that you alert us at the initial booking communication as to whether there are any special requirements needed such as behavioral issues, medication needed, health concerns. This way we get the full picture of your dog so we can ensure we can meet these requirements.
We can promise that your dog will be well cared for and get plenty of affection and love while you are away from them as we know we would want the same for our dog.

It is important that we organize a meet and greet before the official stay. Due to this we will most likely reject last minute bookings that can not organize a meet and greet. Meet and greets are crucial as you can see where your dog will be staying, meet us and Casper and so we can make sure the dogs get along well.

Once we have met you and we both agree that the stay will go ahead we ask that you promptly process your payment to secure the spot for your dogs stay. Over busy periods of the year e.g public holidays and school holidays we do get many requests and if you have not paid their is the possibility your time slot will no longer be available.

Cancellation: Moderate

A full refund will be offered to Pet Owners if they cancel up until 7 days before the booking at 12 noon. After which Pet Owners will be charged 50% of the total booking value.
