Hi! My name is Urania Zhang. I recently graduated from The University of Queensland (UQ) and am now working in Brisbane.

I’ve grown up with pets all my life. I had a lovely Standard Poodle named Suki and a British Shorthair cat named Jelly. They were an important part of my family for many years and taught me from a young age how to care for and understand animals.

Besides caring for my own pets, I also have hands-on experience looking after other people’s animals. I worked for 6 months at a pet café in China, where two colleagues and I cared for 12 cats and 7 dogs every day. The dogs included a Samoyed, two Standard Poodles, an Alaskan Malamute, Toy Poodles and a Husky. My responsibilities included feeding, cleaning, supervising playtime, monitoring their wellbeing and providing basic daily care. I’ve also looked after two cats and one dog for friends while they were away, and regularly walked dogs for four families in my neighbourhood , including medium to large breeds similar in size to Golden Retrievers.

I’m available all day on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and I finish work at 3:00 pm from Monday to Thursday. If your pet stays with us, my boyfriend also helps care for them. He’s a huge animal lover—he seems to know almost every dog in our apartment building! 😂 While I’m at work, he’ll happily keep your pet company, take them for walks and make sure they’re well looked after, so they won’t be left alone for long periods.

We live by the river in Hamilton, with an off-leash dog park just downstairs and a beautiful riverside walking track nearby—perfect for walks and playtime. Our living room is spacious, giving pets plenty of room to relax and move around, and our balcony has high secure railings for added safety.

I’m a patient, caring and responsible person who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals. In my free time, I love travelling, diving, reading, music and gardening. Hope to spend sometime with your furry family
