About Cara
Hi!
I’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have helped look after friends’ and family’s pets from a young age, therefore completely understand the responsibility of looking after other peoples’ pets.
I now dedicate my time to all animals great and small, working full time as a qualified vet nurse locally in Geelong, as well as dog walking one day a week through a small business. And I love every minute!
I love looking after pets of all ages and sizes, and have a soft spot for extra cuddly and affectionate animals (yes that also includes 50kg lap dogs 😝) you can be rest assured that your fur babies will receive the best quality care.
I’m comfortable with all temperaments of animals and can medicate or provide extra veterinary care for those that need TLC as part of their daily routine, whatever is needed to make them feel loved and adored as though they are my own.
Preferably I like to petsit animals in their own surroundings, but am happy to host as long as a meeting is arranged and your pets get along with mine 🧡

Cara took great care of Bobby and our home while we were away. Bobby was nervous and anxious at first with someone new but he warmed up to Cara and they became friends. Cara sent videos and messages with updates and was easy to communicate with. We will definitely feel comfortable getting Cara to help us again.

Cara was fantastic! This was the first time leaving our fur baby with someone other than family, but Cara made us feel so at ease. A lovely person, who clearly loves animals. Cara took incredibly good care of our boy and our home while we were away for a few nights. We loved getting frequent updates, photos and videos of them having a great time. I would not hesitate to recommend Cara!

Highly recommend. Cara was fantastic and my dog Russell had a wonderful time. I felt so at ease knowing he was is great hands and with other fur-babies for company. I received daily updates and pictures of Russ having the best fun. I would definitely have Cara look after my pets again. Thank you 😊🐶
