About Kathleen

Hello, my name is Kat. I work as a Visitor Services/Experiences (Meerkat) Officer at Werribee Open Range Zoo. I have been an avid animal enthusiast for my entire life and started working around animals in 2017.

In 2020 I will be beginning my studies to become a qualified Zookeeper. Although I do not have the qualifications just yet, I have cared for animals my whole life growing up. I've cared for birds, fish, rabbits, rats, mice, cats & dogs. I love all animals big and small.

In my hometown Shepparton I have had several pets. Due to living circumstances at the moment in Geelong I can not have any pets which is why I thought this would be great opportunity for me to let out all my love and affection that has been bottling up since leaving Shepparton and my chonky pet cat Junior(He lives with my mum now to keep her company.)

My whole life revolves around animals and people. I would love to help out anyone who simply doesn’t have the time to walk or care for their beloved fur babies during certain times. I will spend as much time is needed with your pet to make them feel comfortable, safe and loved. Your pets will be in very safe hands. ...
