About Nikki
I am a 48 year old, single, non smoking lady with over 30 years experience and numerous reputable house and animal sitting references. I have always been an empathic animal lover and I am willing to travel nearly anywhere all year around to house sit for your babies. I would love you to join my fur-mily and feathery crew! ❤️🐾😃
My background is in Social Work, Disability Support and Employment Services and I also run my own part time employment consultancy and resume writing business (Resume Lady 2day) which is all online and from home (which means anywhere really!). I am very flexible and adaptable in my arrangements and availabilities to travel nearly anywhere to help look after and sit with your beautiful beloved pets! 😃💜🐶😺🐔🐢🐴🐰🐠
I am very experienced in supporting dogs and other animals with disabilities and additional needs, as well as those who require the administering of any type of medications.
I can soothe your very anxious fur bum bums, distract your excited or nervous puppy or kitten and I have a lot of experience in caring for and supporting beloved ageing fur bubbas who are slowly reaching the heartbreaking ‘hospice care stage’.💔
I love yoga, playing piano, gardening, landscaping, walking, writing and travelling to meet new people and animals for new experiences and adventures! Unfortunately, I can’t host your pet at my place as I’m a full time pet sitter, however, I am very happy to house sit and stay for the day and night at yours to ensure they’re kept in their familiar surroundings.
I look forward to respectfully looking after (and cleaning as a bonus!) your home, especially if I am sitting overnight.
**PLEASE NOTE** If I do stay the night or provide day care for your poochie bum, I choose to offer your bubba their walkies and exercise for no additional cost as part of my housesitting service to you (so please don’t worry about clicking on any additional services for walks). 😊
I will do my absolute best to distract your pets with lots of love and both stimulating and calming activities whilst you’re away. ❤️🙏 If you’re travelling interstate, I can even offer you a ride to the airport as I feel taxis and Uber’s are very expensive! 😀
I will make sure that you have milk and bread of your choice when you arrive home as well as your plants cared for, linen washed and everything else in pristine order.
I do apologise to the community as current inflation of basic living expenses has affected me significantly and as a result, I have had to increase my price by $5 to $50 a night.
As a FT sitter and digital nomad, I currently rotate my staycation bookings with all of my other (private) regular clients who travel frequently throughout the year and have pre-booked me for more than one holiday. I have lots of availability in between dates though, hence my profile here.
Again, here, there will never be any seasonal charges, extra dog walking fees or money requested for looking after your chooks. I’m blessed enough to be able to do this job and live this way ❤️😄🙏

Nikki is amazing, my pets all love her and sleep beside her every night, she takes care my pets so well and when I come back, house is super clean and tidy. We always have the most amazing experiences when Aunty Nikki comes to stay. She fosters the most genuine connection with our animals (we have 2 dogs, a cat, 16 chooks and a parrot) and is by far the most attentive, caring and insightful person to look after your family, especially if they are anxious.
If you are lucky enough to hire Nikki, you will definitely want to re-book her too. Highly recommended. Thanks again Nik, you’re the best. See you again soon!

Nikki is the best sitter I’ve ever used. She has sat for us multiple times this year and last year.
She has such a kind, thoughtful, caring nature and is a rare gem of a person.
My babies absolutely love her and I know they even miss her when she’s gone haha!
She always leaves the house immaculately clean, sends thorough updates, cares for all my plants and does my chooks for free every time.
I have calm doggos to arrive home to every time.
and I never have to worry when I know Nikki is with my girls.
