Hi! My name is Laura, and I’m a lifelong dog lover. I share my home with two large-breed dogs, a Border Collie and a German Shepherd, who have been part of our family for the last seven years. My partner and I rescued our German Shepherd when she was three years old, and with patience, training, and a lot of love, she has become one of the friendliest and most gentle dogs you could meet. We are very proud of how we’ve raised and trained both of them, and they are wonderful with other dogs.

Over the last four years, I have also cared for many other dogs, from small breeds like Shih Tzus to medium and large breeds such as Staffies, Labradors, and Collies. Sometimes I’ve looked after several at once, and everything has always gone smoothly. I keep clear rules and boundaries in our home, which helps all the dogs settle in comfortably. As long as visiting dogs are friendly and socialised, they quickly become part of the pack.

I am a researcher who works from home, which means your dog will have company throughout the day and night. Even though I live with my partner, I will be the one in charge of the care and fully responsible for your fur baby. 

Daily walks are a non-negotiable part of our lives — not only for the health and happiness of our own dogs but also because we love getting outside with them. This routine doesn’t change whether I am caring for two dogs or five; walks, play, and enrichment are simply part of the day.

Our home is secure, comfortable, and surrounded by local parks and open spaces that are perfect for walks and playtime. I am true “dog people,” and if I could, I would have all the dogs in the world! Since that isn’t possible, I put all my love, respect, and attention into the ones I care for. Your fur baby will be treated just like one of our own, and our two dogs will be more than happy to welcome them into the family.
