Hi, I’m Lauren - I’m 31, work in HR, and a proud dachshund lover! I share my life with two dachshunds (Maple and Cecil) and a cattle dog (Polly), so I’m very used to managing different personalities, energy levels, and needs. 

I'm the first to stop the car and help a turtle across the road and am often found trying to rescue birds. I live at home with my partner who is also an animal lover and volunteer at the local wildlife hospital.

While I haven’t used a formal platform before, I’ve always been surrounded by dogs and have regularly helped care for family and friends’ pets. I also have hands-on experience supporting dogs after treatment - including giving medication, assisting a dachshund through IVDD recovery with sling walking and basic physio exercises, and ensuring they feel safe and comfortable while healing.

I know how hard it can be to find someone you trust with your pets, and how anxious it can feel leaving them behind. My goal is to make sure they’re cared for just like they would be at home — whether that means long walks, backyard play, belly rubs, or keeping to their exact feeding routine. I’ll provide plenty of updates and reassurance so you can relax knowing your furry family is happy and secure while you’re away.
