* As I have to factor in petrol/commute time between commitments, bookings in inner North and South, and Central Canberra work best for me. I can also do long weekends in Belconnen and Gungahlin.

I am a reliable, responsible 35 year old professional who has worked in government, international affairs and development. Canberra is my hometown and I have petsat for several friends and colleagues to date, with repeat requests. A non-smoker single (no-guest policy), I have maturity and common sense. Valid police check available.

I have owned, rehabilitated and trained several pets myself since age 13: dogs, including a rescue, rabbits, guinea pigs, from babies to seniors. I have cared for clients' birds, cats, puppies/dogs (10+ canines), including fosters and former rescues.

I have particular experience caring for dogs of all sizes, including ones with rescue/trauma history, anxiety, obesity and arthritis. I have cared for samoyed, labradors, German shepherd, English pointer, border collie, cocker spaniel, mini schnauzer, chihuahuas, pugs and less identifiable mixes! I love large dogs, and can hold my own with energetic boisterous ones, having rehabilitated one myself and cared for several.

I am environmentally-conscious and conservative in consumption of utilities. I am clean, tidy and organised; and treat client homes and pets as carefully as my own. Good with low-maintenance pot plants and garden. A quiet homebody, I am security minded, easily contactable and have my own car in event of emergencies.

More than happy to meet to spend time with your pets prior to your absence, should they need additional help adjusting. I provide regular visual and written updates on your property and pets' wellbeing during your time away. Open to discussion on how you can get the most value from my fee for services, which are negotiable (base rate set to care for 3 pets).

House/petsit referees available on request (prior/existing clients are not website members).
