Country Holiday for Active Dogs 🐾🌿

Does your dog love space, fresh air and good company? They might just think they’ve won the lottery staying with us!

We’re a retired couple on 20 beautiful acres in Kangarilla, and dogs have been part of our lives for over 30 years. We’ve mostly shared our home with working breeds, so we understand busy brains, active bodies and the need for proper exercise and engagement.

Your dog will enjoy our fully fenced 1-acre garden — plenty of room to zoom, sniff and explore safely (though we’re not suited to Olympic high-jumpers or escape artists!).

They’ll also have the enthusiastic company of Nellie, our very friendly 4-year-old Border Collie/Kelpie cross. She’s energetic, ball-obsessed and always up for a play session. If your dog enjoys having a buddy, they’ll fit right in.

Every day includes at least one leashed adventure through nearby Kuitpo Forest — lots of smells, sights and enrichment. Because of this, your dog will need to be comfortable travelling in the car.

Dogs sleep indoors with us and are treated as part of the family — cuddles, company and plenty of attention included.

We’re best suited to medium to large dogs who are well-socialised, enjoy being active and are happy sharing space with another friendly working-type dog.

If your dog enjoys country life, daily walks and constant companionship, we’d love to welcome them.
