About Mia

Hi, My name is Mia and I am a 23 year old animal lover and dog mum of two beautiful pups. I have had lots of experience with pets and was always the local pet-sitter where I grew up. I have cared for all types of animals from farm animals, dogs, cats and even exotics (snakes). Most of my experience is with dogs and I have cared for anxious, aggressive, big and little dogs.

I have such a huge love for animals and treat them all as my own. I have a fenced backyard at my place in Toowoomba where they can run around with my two dogs. Due to having dogs of my own, for hosting pets, I would prefer social dogs who will be happy with the company of my two. Both of my dogs sleep in crates at night allowing for other dogs needs to be catered for overnight (outside, crate, bed etc.). My fences are not tall at home either so jumping dogs may be able to get out.

I also spend my spare weekends out at our farm 1 hour north of Toowoomba in Maclagan. For longer stays I would be happy to give dogs a trip out here on weekends. The home has a fully fenced house yard and is on a 600 acre property - miles of room for fun and water to swim in.

In the last three years I have become very invested and interested in dog training. I work with my dog Goose daily and have been taking classes once a week for quite a while. I would love the chance to share this new skill to improve the relationship you have with your dogs and troubleshoot unwanted behavior's.

A full refund will be offered to Pet Owners if they cancel up until the day before the booking at 12 noon. After which Pet Owners will be charged 50% of the total booking value.
