I am constantly researching about my pets (foods that are good for them vs foods that aren't, how to keep them healthy and happy, about any medications they may need).
Tonka requires quite a few medications to maintain his skin, coat and eyes so I feel I am responsible enough to look after any special needs your pet may have. I won't forget important medications and can understand the importance of specific dosages.
I live in a one bedroom house with my partner and Tonka. We have a decent sized backyard for exercise and exploration and we also visit our local dog park quite often (Tonka has LOTS of energy).
If your pet doesn't particularly enjoy the company of dogs, I can easily keep the two separated (our front yard and backyard are divided by fencing or our dog will stay outside while your pet is inside). Tonka is great with cats and smaller animals. He can sometimes become territorial over his toys with larger dogs but, as I said, it is easy to keep them separated and safe.
We have six foot fencing the entire way around our perimeter and secure gates.
I work as a casual cleaner so I spend a fair amount of time at home giving your babies the love and attention they need (:
