About Kim
I have 2 older cats who I love to bits and would do anything for their needs as they are my family. I am a huge animal lover of all species and can't walk past a pet without having to meet them and pat them.
I moved to Townsville last year and was previously a wildlife carer for 12 years. I mostly looked after birds, snakes, reptiles and found fixed but also have done studies at Tafe with animal studies.
Animals are my passion and I just love spending time with them and tending to their needs.

KIm has looked after our cats and guinea pigs several times. She is thorough and they love having her care for them. She has a very gentle nature with animals and it is obvious that animals are her passion. She follows all instructions that are left for her and I know they are in good hands when we go away. If anything were to happen while we were gone, I know she would pick up on it and get them the treatment they need as she has years of experience caring for animals.

I have known Kim for 12 years and worked closely with her while she was in WIRES. Over that time she rescued and cared for over 3,000 wildlife across all species. She also had many roles within WIRES including coordinating, management and training. Kim has always shown great empathy for animals and her care is always of the highest standard. I highly recommend Kim as a pet carer and particularly recommend her specialised care for birds and reptiles.
