Hello! My name is Emily - I am a live-in pet sitter who is most experienced with rabbits, cats and dogs of all breeds/sizes.

I have really enjoyed meeting new people and everyone's fur friends. I take a lot of pride in being able to provide the upmost care to your animals and following their routine to the best of my ability. I have experience caring for multiple animals at once.

I offer overnight pet sitting, in your home, so that your animal doesn't need to leave their safe space. I am respectful of other's spaces and always tidy up after myself.

In terms of more about me:

I have two mini lop rabbits called Bacardi and Malibu (hilariously, I don't drink much) who live in my family home and are now doted on by my parents (their grandparents). I understand the stresses and worries of being a rabbit parent, and I'm aware of the extra care that rabbits require (incl awareness of issues such as gut stasis). 

I like to say I am also the adoptive paw-rent to my partner's dog, a 40kg+ White Swiss Shepherd called Snow, and fluffy grey cat called Mocki. As such, I'm comfortable with caring for and walking dogs of all sizes (and honestly, sometimes Snow seems like a small baby to me!)

I am a full-time working professional. I do have to work in the office 2-3 days a week, however, so I may not be the right fit if your pet is used to someone WFH all the time.

I service areas including the Inner East/Inner Bayside of Melbourne (think City of Bayside, City of Stonnington and City of Glen Eira).*

I started as a live-in sitter as a way to  be a bit closer to the CBD for work and to save for my own home. I continue to do so however because I've loved the people I've met and the animals I've cared for.

Please note:
• My base rate is for one pet only with basic needs. If you have multiple pets and/or those which may have higher needs such as medical needs, this may incur additional fees.
• Whilst I am a solo-sitter, I do have a long-term partner who sometimes assists me with sits or pops in if the pet owner is comfortable with this arrangement. He also has extensive experience with pets (since Snow and Mocki are his!) and generally will come along to meet and greets.
