Hello pet owners, Throughout 2019 I have passed my Certificate III for Animal Studies because I have a passion for pets and other animals. I then followed up with a Cert IV course for Vet Nursing. I then later dropped out because I needed to save money and began stressing about housing issues.
As an animal studies student, your pets will go under reliable supervision and handled responsibility. Caring for your beloved pets will build up my practical skills further and encourage me to once again enroll for Vet Nursing once again.
I show your pets love and attentiveness, in return the rewarding experience goes towards furthering my education in the animal industry.
[Optional Read]: As well as being Animal Studies TAFE student the course also allowed the students to be part of the volunteer team for Animal Welfare. Each Sunday I am part of the Dog Team at the AWLQ, previously being part of the cat team.
After dealing with the mess left by animals during each shift, I'm pretty comfortable tidying up afterward. Being an Animal Studies student and partial Vet Nursing Student has taught me a lot about clients and their animals.
The courses have taught me how to check vital signs, identify various breeds of dogs/cats, nutritional values and now my responsibilities can extend a little further.
For a small time as a Vet Nursing Student, I was given placement at the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital attending to native animals; especially birds. Handling birds used to make me feel anxious but I'm beginning to approach them more comfortably. Now i can extend my services to involve birds, larger dog breeds and I'll try my hands at mew animals to build my experiences for future education, so thank you for the business you give me. The business is whole-heartily appreciated <3
