- Fully fenced backyard
- 24/7 camera we use to keep an eye on Alfie and his visitors if we leave the house
- Police check
- Daily photos/videos (consider me you furbaby’s paparazzi!)
- Plenty of toys and treat dispensing toys
- Happy for both indoor/outdoor dogs
- Happy for house trained dogs to sleep inside
- Doggy door suitable for small dogs
- Regular adventures to local reserve and pond
- We have a St John’s Pet First Aid Kit in case of emergencies (have never needed it!)
- 2 Dog seatbelts for safe transportation if needed. They connect to harness/collar.
- We have a FitBark for visitors (like a FitBit- it can be attached to your dog's collar and records their activity level and rest - provides the data to an App) We have one on Alfie's collar all the time and it shows when he has been in high levels of activity throughout the day, as well as when he has been resting. We can discuss if you are happy to have the FitBark on your dog's collar. If you aren't very tech-savvy I am happy to just send you daily pictures of the information :)
Someone is home all day Fri-Sun and after midday on Tues-Thurs so the only day your baby is home alone is Mondays, but not to fear Alfie is there! Not many other Mad Paws sitters can guarantee someone is home that often! Additionally, we also employ someone on Mondays to take Alfie on a walk to ensure he isn't bored at home on Mondays and can organise for your baby to join the adventure at the cost of the walker's fee.
Alfie is always up to date with his vaccines as well as his monthly flea and worming prevention. We have used sitters on Mad Paws before and know what it's like to be worried about your precious baby! Let us know how we can help! Due to the size of our little duplex we can handle small dogs, but unfortunately we are just too small for any big babies!
Our dog Alfie sleeps in our room, your baby is welcome to do the same :) We don't mind if they jump up on the bed, infact we have had a furry visitor in the past manage to sneak under the blankies every night at 3am- Cheeky!
Alfie is good with other dogs, but has not been around cats, birds or small animals so unless they live in a cage we would not be able to host them. We are happy though to drop by and feed them! Alfie is happy to just to chill out and doesn't enjoy dogs who try to bowl him over, headbutt or be rough, so if your dog has a tendency to be overly physical with other dogs than perhaps another sitter would be more ideal for your needs :) In the past Alfie and his visitors have gone for adventures, snoozed on the couch and in the sun, spied on the street and played with toys. Rest assured that whilst you enjoy your holiday, your poochie will be having one too!
