They call me the Dachshund Whisperer… 🐾

With two dachshunds of my own and a deep love for the breed, I’m especially passionate about caring for these quirky little characters—and I regularly look after many in Lawson, in the mid-Blue Mountains only 1 hour from Sydney.
We offer a safe, welcoming environment with a large, secure deck accessible via doggy door, and a spacious, park-like fenced yard perfect for play and relaxation. I care for friends’ dachshunds and other small dogs during the day or while they’re away on holidays, always treating them like part of the family.

One of my boys has made a full recovery from IVDD, so I’m well-versed in dachshund health and know what signs to watch for. Our dogs are friendly and social, but we’ve found it works best to meet outside the home first, then walk back together—this helps everyone settle in as a pack.
My husband and I both work from home, and we’re lucky to have South Lawson dog park only a short drive away. Visiting dogs are never taken off-lead, and we care for them with the same love and attention we give our own.

**Please note:
We’re unable to accept bookings for dogs that are not de-sexed, very young puppies, or brachycephalic breeds (such as Cavaliers, Pugs, Bostons, or French Bulldogs), as one of our boys is reactive to these types.
