Hi my name is Miah,

Im am 20 years old and absolutely passionate about animals.  I am studying to become a Vetinerary Nurse.

Since as long as I can remember my house has been full of animals that needed love and care.  My Mother has volunteered for WIRES and what I learnt from her and the care with anything from, ducklings, parrots, kookaburras, magpies, possums (ringies and brushies – big and small!) etc, has been invaluable to me. 

I have however moved out of him into an apartment with my boyfriend now. We have a black rescue cat with one eye called Raven and a black and white rescue cat named Ash. I have had much experience with loving and caring for all types of animals ever since I’ve been a young girl.

I completed work experience at Kirrawee Vetinerary Practice Sept 2023 which I absolutely loved.  I have also worked in retail in a pet accessory shop called Paws and Palms in Westfields where I cared for baby rabbits as well until they closed down.  when I was 12 I had a dog walking little business and used to walk all the neighbours dogs on different days for a good couple of years.  Sometimes my Mum and I would have 5 dogs in total and they all had a ball.  My favourite job though is the one I have now where I am a receptionist and manager at a dog and cat groomer while studying vet nursing. As you can see I absolutely love animals and would care for others as I do my own. 
 
I now live in Miranda, close to a big grass field which the dogs absolutely love.  I have an enclosed balcony and a grassed area and if I care for your dogs they can walk to work with me everyday and either relax under my desk in the dog bed or play with the other dogs that come in. 😊
