About Kylie
We are animal lovers with spare time to care for your pet/s while you are away. We have grown our dog hosting services on the Sunshine Coast and take pride in the fact that we are in high demand to care for your pets.
We are experienced pet parents who have found ourselves without a pet to care for, and we are now in a position to care for someone else's furry child. We both grew up with animals and have owned a variety of sizes and breeds, including a gorgeous German Shepherd until recently.
We are a little different in that we now attempt to have one dog or household of dogs per over night stay (where possible) so that we can give your pet one on one attention and care as well as everyday walks. You will have piece of mind knowing that your pet is in good hands. There is nothing like home for dogs, and we provide a consistent schedule for your pets. They will be in a household environment with plenty of space to move about and rest.
There are no children or other animals in our home, so your furry child will receive the attention and care it needs in a secure and calm setting. Because at least one of us is home most of the time, your pet will not be left alone for long periods of time.
We are fit and energetic people who enjoy being able to exercise your pet based on needs, such as daily walks where possible and depending on the weather.
Pets can spend the night indoors, where they are safe, warm, and a part of our household.
We do get booked quickly, so plan ahead and book as soon as you know of your plans to avoid disappointment.
Qualifications:
Certificates II and III in Animal Studies (Tafe)
Volunteer dog trainer for the NSW South Coast Dog Training Club for two years.
Extensive experience with large dog breeds.
Medication administration experience.

Dog council registration is a legal requirement under the Domestic Animals Act 1994, please register your dog with your Council first.

Flea treated
Be socialised and well behaved
All dogs must be toilet trained
Show no aggression
ALL dogs must be de-sexed
Must NOT be declared a dangerous dog by Council
Must be able to be left alone at home for up to 2 hours
Must be compatible with other dogs as we have overnight stays that overlap on occasions.
Pet Hosting is priced on a 24 hour time frame and includes daily walks.
Daily updates with photos are provided each day via Madpaws website.
We are flexible on times with pre arrangement.
Pick up times that are pre arranged with us must be strictly adhered to.
