About Melissa
100% vaccinated, including my booster shot.
I've been a pet owner since I was a baby. I specialise in large breeds, having owned 2 German Shepherds and a Rottweiler previously. I don't discriminate with dogs and love all shapes and sizes equally with cuddles and belly scratches distributed evenly.
I live with one cat Ninja. Ninja has grown up and lived with dogs. Whilst Ninja is comfortable around dogs if the chase her she isn't a fan and will prefer to stay away from them.
I'm the first point of call for dog sitting or the feeding of cats when my friends go away on holidays.
You can be assured that your fur baby or babies will be treated as if they were my own and receive so much love and attention they won't even notice you are gone.
For pet day care and hosting at my residence please note that I allow fur babies on my couch and on my bed, this is unless you have rules about pets on furniture. I will respect the way you have trained your baby and will not provide any bad habits for them to learn.
Pet day care (Dogs Only)
- Hours available 7am to 7pm.
- There will be plenty of cuddles and scratches provided.
- I am able to take your fur baby or babies for walks at a local on lead park. Please note that I will not visit off lead parks unless your dog has a very good recall and you have given your permission to do so.
- Feeding as per your nominated schedule.
- I can provide a pick up and drop off service for a fee and only within a 10k radius for pet day care. Hours available pick up any time before 8am and drop off any time after 5pm.
- I am happy to give your fur baby medication (except injections).
- I am able to accept special needs and elderly fur babies.

- Hours available 24 hours.
- Your fur baby will sleep indoors. I do not currently have a shelter in my back yard for them to spend overnight outside.
- There will be plenty of cuddles and scratches provided.
- I am able to take your fur baby or babies for walks at a local on lead park. Please note that I will not visit off lead parks unless your dog has a very good recall and you have given your permission to do so.
- Feeding as per your nominated schedule.
- I can provide a pick up and drop off service for a fee and only within a 10k radius. Pick up and drop off hours to be discussed.
- I am happy to give your fur baby medication (except injections).
- I am able to accept special needs and elderly fur babies.
- Day trips to cafes and bunnings.
House Visiting (Both Cats and Dogs)
- Feed your fur baby as per your outlined schedule.
- Administer oral or topical medications, if required.
- Checking water bowls and cleaning and refilling.
- Spend some time with your fur baby providing pats, play time, cuddles and comfort.
- Cleaning of kitty litter trays or picking up dog poo.
For pet day care I can keep my cats separated from your fur baby or babies if preferred, however this is not an available option for pet hosting.

Thank you Melissa for looking after Robbie like he was your own! Melissa sent me lots of updates with photos. She was confident, very easy going and very accommodating. Robbie is a quirky dog (reactive to larger cars/noises), however, this was no challenge for Melissa. Happy to have found a reliable dog sitter.

Amazing. Milly had a wonderful time with Melissa. As an anxious dog Melissa gave us time to meet Milly prior to her stay giving her and us peace of mind. Regular updates throughout her time. Definitely will be using Melissa services in the future.
