About Melissa

I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. I’ve owned fish, cats, dogs, and even a rabbit. I’ve been around horses, snakes, lizards, rats, and other rodents. I’ve always loved being around animals and interacting with them and I can’t imagine living a life without them.

I’ve got my own cat back home in Canada who I absolutely love spoiling and cuddling. Unfortunately I decided to leave her with my mom while I am living here as I didn’t want her to have to endure such a long flight & quarantine simply for a temporary move. It would not have been responsible of me as a pet owner.

I now however have a pet shaped void in my life and I’d like to fill it by helping others take care of their pets. I grew up mainly with cats and dogs, and so I have extensive experience with caring for both of them. I’m comfortable with all furry animals and some scaly ones, and I am eager to learn whatever is needed to ensure your pet is cared for to the highest degree. I will absolutely treat your pet with all the love and care they deserve. I’ll treat them as if they were my own, and if you ask anyone how I treat my cat you’ll be told that basically means I’ll go above & beyond for them. Often mostly beyond and into spoiling territory but hey! Our furry friends deserve to be spoiled sometimes!

Please note: For dogs it would be best if I pet sit them at your home as I don't have the best backyard for dogs (no grassy area). I do live near a park though, so if absolutely necessary I can provide day care service at mine and we will still enjoy lots of outdoor play together. I’ve also got access to a vehicle so we can go on adventures to dog parks as well! I am however able to accommodate all indoor pets for pet sitting in my home. ...
