Dear Pet-Owner
Let us get to the crux of the matter. You have probably been reading biographies all day. You're bored. Seeing paint dry will be more interesting at this point in time. Words are dancing before your eyes, making it difficult to concentrate. You just want it to end: the elaborate sentences about "friendly", "kind" and "animal loving" people, the monotonous repetition of what a great pet you have. You know your "snookems" is the cutest, best and friendliest there is.
Some more on me and my ability to look after your extended family: I recently moved to Melbourne from Sandton, South Africa. I am a forensic accountant by trade, but moved here with my husband so he can be a hotshot lawyer. I sadly had to leave my parrot (Chicko) and dog (Cody) in South Africa with my parents, as it would have been cruel having them come here on that long flight. I miss them every day. And now Chicko isn't here to kiss away my tears.
I will treat your loved one like I treated my own. They are your best friend (even though you don't speak the same language and don't really understand each other) that gives love unconditionally. I will treat them with the same amount of love, attention and respect as you do – just as I would want someone to treat Chicko and Cody.
I hope you choose me as your sitter.
