The 7 Star Care Promise Your dog will never be alone while in our care. No exceptions. Here's why, our dog, Jett, suffers from acute separation anxiety. And we mean, ‘acute’. Jett’s jumped 6’ fences when left alone. He’s tracked us for several kilometres to find us. Basically, Jett has made it clear; he suffers from acute separation anxiety. This isn’t unusual for very spoilt highly sensitive breeds of dogs e.g Poodles. When we leave the house, Jett – and our guests leave with us. So, our guest dogs become part of our family. They’re never left alone. There’s always someone in their presence.We also communicate with the owners of our guests. Usually owners are happy to see the images of their dog uploaded to our 7 Star Care facebook/Instagram pages. Here we post photos and videos of our guests. We also welcome owners to sms or call for updates. It’s not just emotional health for our guests that’s important. We provide quality treats, daily exercise, and even some reward-based training. We’re a family owner/operator business. There are three of us to look after our guests. Here are a few important points to consider before booking. Small-to-medium sized dogs only.Unfortunately, we can’t accommodate Staffordshires, Bull Terriers, or any mixes of these breeds. Male dogs over 12-months must be de-sexed. We will consider a medium-to-large dog under the condition that it has a placid, friendly demeanour. This will be evident when your dog arrives at 7 Star Care and meets our other guests and resident concierge, Jett. There have been plenty of instances when our guests have been so well-behaved they end up on our beds, on the sofas and behaving as if they’ve lived with us for, well, forever. Check our photos! EXPERIENCE We have had pets our entire lives. I was raised with horses, dogs and cats. 7 Star Care has been in business for 3-years. Most of our guests are repeat customers. We understand that, in some instances, pet owners can suffer from separation anxiety. To minimise this, we communicate with owners on their pet’s well-being while in our custody. We’re happy to publish photos and videos of their pet in our care. These appear in on facebook & Instagram pages or we can email or sms photos in real time. It’s part of our service. Our guests must not be chronic barkers. Our guests must not be aggressive. Our guests must be leash-friendly.
