My partner and I live on a 10 acre property with lots of space for the dogs run around and play. We have Whisky Dog who is stag hound, she exceptionally friendly and loves company of other dogs. We only take dogs that get along with her and meet and greet is essential beforehand. We are very easy going and love our animals, treating our guests as our own.
The front fence is secure with 1.2m chain link, with boundary fencing to the adjoining properties. The dogs come inside at night time and share our home. We do have a separate area set up for the dogs for when we leave the property, this has shade, a paddling pool and shelter from the elements. Most of the time we are on the property so it not often the dogs are left for long periods of time. When we are around they have free range of the property. We go for two walks most days off the property for extra stimulation. We go up the tracks in the hills, the rivers and various recreational parks to mix it up.
We do have horses but they are separate and far enough away should any dog be scared. Our horses are all dog friendly.
Whisky our dog was our first and last foster dog, she fitted into our world and therefore became party of the family. We also rehome ex-race horses and re-educate them suitable homes. We understand the animals, their wellbeing and how to make life a happy place for them.
We can tailor your dog’s needs and all the dogs that come to us have a good time (it’s like a holiday for them). We only take dogs for a minimum of three days to however long.
We are available over Christmas but last year we were booked up fast with a wait list. Our pricing between 22nd December to 2nd January is $35 per day. All other times is $30 per day.
