Our (non-human) family members provide us with a very precious & irreplaceable connection. As such I treat the opportunity to help you to maintain the level of care you wish to provide for your loved ones in your absence, with respect, passion, and a great deal of love! I have a decade of experience with furry, hairy, feathery, scaly and fishy pets, and so it is with a love of all-things-animal, I recently decided to make companion animal services a full-time commitment by offering personalised all-creature care. I am currently studying combined Certificates in Professional Dog Walking/Minding, and, Canine First Aid (not a medical qualification, but an exercise in risk awareness and preventative care) with the British College of Canine Studies. I am eager to provide my services to all! So not just to our wonderfully happy and healthy pets, but also those companion family members who might need a little more support and understanding, be there physical, medical, age-related or behavioural challenges, I believe ALL living creatures deserve our love, kindness, patience, attention and care (this includes breeds that are misjudged and/or discriminated against). I absolutely adore walking all furry friends, and if you have something extra you need from the time I spend with your pets whether it be to practice a new training word, allowing your pup extra sniffing time (or not!) on a walk, or to methodically apply a slow recovery programme from injury &/or operation that requires gradual build-up of time &/or pace over weeks - I would just love to work with your loved one(s)! I do have a deep sense of responsibility and heartfelt affection for all life, and so no matter the activity or time I spend with them, they will always have my full attention and be adored as if they were my own - because I know that if it was me, I would want to know that my little ones were cared for the same way. I am very respectful and identify quickly through observational animal behaviour techniques, how each of your individual family members’ needs will differ and I will shape my approach according to both your direction and the signals your loved ones provide. I am professional though easy-going, extremely reliable yet plan my sessions to allow for flexibility, and firmly believe that the only reason why I should be using my phone while with any of my animal clients is to be taking pics and videos for you to enjoy - I have no interest in social media etc and as such my full focus will be with the family members entrusted to me at all times. I also don't mind watering a few plants, doing a few dishes, and picking up your mail, however my focus will be mainly on your little ones and making sure they get as much care and attention that they wish for, and sometimes that can be just keeping them company or giving them a cuddle, through to a full hour of play…each session is designed to meet their (and your!) individual situation. I look forward to meeting you and your animal family!
