About Kym
We have been hosting pets in our home since October 2016 and we love the experience of looking after all types of animals, especially dogs. When we look after your pet they will become part of our family for as long as they stay with us. Your fur baby/ies will have lots of space to play outside in our large fenced yard and they are also welcome inside our home with us to play, rest and sleep.
They will have lots of pats and attention from our two kids who have lived with dogs since they were born and know to be gentle and kind. We follow your instructions for feeding and walking and there will be lots of love, care, play and attention in our home - as much or as little as your pet would like.
Please note, we work away from home Monday to Thursday so your fur baby will have some time on their own these days (around 9:00am to 5:00pm).
If you're going away for a day, overnight, a few days or a week or two, we'd love to help and give you peace of mind that your furry family member is happy and loved.
Please note, as a working family that often receives multiple pet sitting requests at the same time for the same dates, it can take up to 3 days for us to respond to booking requests. We appreciate your understanding.
If we haven't cared for your pet before, we need at least 1 week's notice (ideally longer) as we must have a meet and greet beforehand and these can take time to arrange.
We are also UNABLE to accept bookings for some breeds due to multiple instances of damage caused to our home and garden and/or our experience demonstrating that they are incompatible with our family. These are:
- Puppies or dogs that chew things that are not theirs, and/or are not toilet trained
- Labradors, golden retrievers, labradoodles (or any mixture of these),
- Samoyeds
- large aggressive breeds
- dogs that bite, either playfully or aggressively, and
- single dogs on their own that can't be in the company of other dogs.
We will decline booking requests if they match the above descriptions.

My Jack Russel was welcomed into Kyms house as one of the family. I recieved photos of her playing and going for walks and Kym was always responsive to my messages. When i picked up my dog she was relaxed and happy. Thankyou Kym, it really was a loving home away from home.
