I'm retired, so am home most of the time. My little dog, Zara, died in April 2024 aged 16. My daughter & I adopted her when she was 2.5yo. She was a sweet, lovely well behaved dog. Her last 12 months were hard with a bee sting causing anaphalaxis & a problem with her eyes requiring copious quantities of drops. Liver treats are wonderful way to get a placid dog to put up with it. I now would like to look after small dogs. I say small as I have a dog door that leads to the deck & then there are 6 steps off the deck to the good sized, very secure backyard. The dog door means your dog can go in & out whenever they wish. I will walk your dog daily if you wish. I'm not a fan of leash free dog parks, but if you would like your dog taken there, I will. There is one a short walk from my home. If your pooch is a senior & needs a stroller, that's fine, I'm quite used to it. Zara had one for about 2-3 years & we mixed it up in a bit of walking a bit of stroller riding. Just bring your dogs stroller with you. I don't have Zara's stroller now. Of course your dog can sleep inside. I have looked after other people's dogs in the past, dogs that like to chase balls, dogs that like to just chill & dogs that are nervous & shy, dogs with a sense of humour. Please note that I have stairs off the deck that leads to the backyard.  Your fur baby's ability to use them is essential. 
I have in the past had birds, some a little crazy. They were, not at the same time, peach face parrots & cockatiels. I like birds & there are a variety come to my garden.  Mad paws does have a function to put in a cost for dogs & a cost for birds. The cost for birds can can be negotiated.
