Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and there are few things I enjoy more than spending time outdoors with a happy dog by my side. Whether your dog loves a gentle stroll, an energetic adventure or simply enjoys company and attention, I'll care for them as if they were my own.
I live in the Ballarat area and recently returned from travelling overseas, where I completed six house sits throughout the UK. During stays of two to three weeks, I was trusted to care for people's homes and much-loved dogs, providing daily walks, feeding, grooming and medication where needed, while ensuring they felt safe, happy and well cared for.
I've owned and cared for dogs all my life and have experience with dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities. My West Highland Terrier, Keith, lived to the age of 15 and taught me so much about caring for dogs through every stage of life. I also regularly care for family dogs, including Bonnie, a cheeky Westie, and Marcy, a gentle elderly Greyhound.
Walking is another passion of mine. I recently completed the Appalachian Trail in the USA, so whether your dog needs a short neighbourhood walk or a longer adventure, I'm happy to tailor every outing to suit their needs and energy levels.
I have my own reliable, dog-friendly vehicle for trips to parks, walking trails, vet or grooming appointments, and I'm always happy to provide extra enrichment with outings further afield.
I understand that trusting someone with your dog is a big decision. I'll always treat them with kindness, patience and genuine care, making every walk safe, enjoyable and fun.
I'm available most days for both short and long walks and would love the opportunity to meet you and your dog.
