Self-proclaimed pet and animal lover, with heaps of energy and a sense of adventure!
I have completed 3 years of veterinary science study in South Africa, am currently undertaking a PHD at the University of Sydney in cardiovascular disease.
I have extensive experience with both handling and training various species of animals (of all shapes and sizes- from dogs & cats, to horses & snakes).
I'm available to both look after pets whilst you're away, as well as dog-walking and training services. (If you've ever wanted a dog who can sit, stay, roll-over- I am your person).
My friends always look to me to take care of their fur babies whilst they are away, and as I have my own transport, walking pets or taking them out to parks is never an issue.
No task is too big or too small when it comes to fur children.
I have extensive experience with post-operative care of animals (of both my own pets and through my university studies). And I take pride in being able to be both be a great carer, as well as have fun and really look after animals. I've been known to give up my New Year’s Eve celebrations to look after some gorgeous Burmese boys and make sure they are okay- some things are just worth it.
I love being around animals and relish the opportunity to assist others with theirs. The people in my closest dog park prompted me to apply to Pawshake, as they all know how much I miss my two Italian Greyhounds (who are back in South Africa with my parents). I unfortunately cannot have pets in my apartment, so I feel like getting to pet-sit would be the next best thing.
(I also happen to have a great liver-cookie recipe for dog biscuits- just saying).
