A Home Full of Walks, Cuddles & Care

Hi, I’m Penny, and I’d love to welcome your dog or bird into my home and care for them as if they were one of my own.

I offer a warm, loving home with a fully fenced, secure yard with lockable gates, providing a safe environment for your dog to play and enjoy the outdoors so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet will be safe to explore and relax under my supervision.

Although, sadly I no longer own a pet, I’ve shared my life with dogs for many years, including two much-loved Border Collies Sheba and Ebony who both lived to 12½ years. Aswell as, our little family dog, Shelly, who lived to the wonderful age of 17½ - she sadly passed in late 2022 and they are all still missed to this day. They were all treasured members of our family, so I understand how important it is to leave your dog with someone who will love and care for them just as you do and I will.

I have also been the proud owner of two Quaker parrots Bell and Jack, Cockatiels Whisky and Blue. I am a true bird lover and enjoy caring for pets of all kinds, giving each one the attention, patience and affection they deserve.

I’m now semi retired from full-time work, which means I have plenty of time to devote to your dog. They’ll receive lots of companionship, affection, exercise and one-on-one attention in a secure, calm, loving home.

Living in Newport on Sydney’s beautiful Northern Beaches means we’re surrounded by wonderful places to explore.

One of my favourite walks is to Bilgola Beach, and we’re also close to Mona Vale Beach, where dogs are welcome during the permitted off-leash times. Newport Oval and the Bayview Dog Park are nearby, giving dogs plenty of room to stretch their legs, sniff, play and socialise. I’m also very happy to drive to local parks and beaches to make sure every dog enjoys the exercise, enrichment and fun that’s right for them.

Whether your dog loves long walks, gentle strolls, games of fetch or simply curling up for cuddles, I’ll happily follow their usual routine so they feel relaxed, secure and right at home.

I’ll also keep you updated with regular photos and messages, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for.

I welcome small and medium-sized dogs into my home and look forward to meeting both you and your dog or bird before their stay.

Your loving pet won’t just be looked after—they’ll be welcomed as part of the family.
