Although I've always loved dogs, getting my first, Archer, 2 years ago resulted in a whole new appreciation and understanding for dogs - one which your furbaby, I hope, will be on the receiving end of :)
Being my first dog, getting Archer was preceded by a ridiculous amount of research in regards to every aspect of his existence. I have also been lucky enough to have spent every day with him since day 1 so have become quite knowledgeable in dog psychology and behaviour.
We love having small to medium dogs come to stay (size restriction only because I have a small backyard). We go for two 30min-1hr walks every day, and Archer loves to play and will alter his play style to match his playmate, although he prefers the more rough-and-tumble style. In any case, your dog should be tired out by the time he returns home to you!
I work from home so can attend to the dogs around the clock and they are never far from human interaction. I also love to train, although am not by any means a professional trainer. That said, every dog that has ever come to stay has gone home having learnt a new trick or better manners. I am an advocate for positive training and believe there is no such thing as a bad dog.
I have a secure baby gate (fence) to section off part of the house if required for safety reasons (e.g. during feeding) for your peace of mind.
Archer and I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby 🐶😊...

Alan has found two lovely friends in Kumica and her dog Arch. He got spoilt rotten and is looking forward to his next stay! Thank you Kumica. It is very clear you love dogs. I have one very tired boy at home now who misses his new friends.…
