My name is Robert, at your service

-8 Years experience handling, walking/exercising Arctic Breeds e.g. Huskies, Malamute, Samoyed from 1+ - 11 y.o. (current). I specialise in Senior dogs comfort & gentle care.

-Helping prepare, train, requalify & familiarise your registered Service dog in preperation for testing with relevant organisations chosen e.g. Mind Dogs Australia, I trained my own 6 y.o female Husky X Malmute - to retirement at 11 y.o (officially ret. 01/08/2025) working dog line/breeds love a job.

-I have alot of experience with Arctic breeds, e.g. Siberian Huskies, Malamute X (8 years), 
& some experience with:
- Daschunds (Wire Hair, Smooth Coat),
- Kelpy, Kelpy X Blue Heeler cattle dog
- German Shepherd Dog (GSD),
- Giant Breeds e.g. x2 Great Danes,
- Great Dane X Bull Mastiff, 
- 3 y.o female Caucasian Ovcharka (Shepherd).

-I've also looked after a turtle, &
-some experience with cats

- I  can supply references on request of my dog handling experience if required. I thrive on reward of outcome, by using positive reinforcement, gentle & ethical pressure, I have alot of patience for even the most energetic boisterous dogs,  having a soft spot for working line & Arctic Breeds.

-I subscribe to Origon K9 Military Working Dog handling equipment: 2 x medium Patrol collars, 3x 1.8m leads, 9.1m exercise lead, aftermarket split lead (walk 2 dogs), dog seatbelt, 6x ruffwear hot weathe dog boots (recommended by Origon K9, x2 sizes for medium dog x2 pair 2.25' x1 pair 2.5') & coresponding socks for your dog's comfort, (X2 pair size 2.25', x1 pair size 2.5'), patrol pouch e.g. for high value rewards/treats, 1st aid kit, & toilet bags.
*I'm always investing in dog 1st aid kit & Military Working Dog (MWD) equipment for dog's safety.

MadPaws covers Public Liability & Pet Insurance (20% off fee from the sitter) so you have peace of mind your dog(s), yourself, General public liability, & I are safely covered. I definitely encourage the importance of makeing sure your pet is covered for all days of entire booking.
I only charge the daily baserate once for multiple pets (upto 4 pets), as your pet's welfare is priority over money/any fee which I'm sure you would understand & agree.

*Tipping is not necessary MadPaws does accept tipping the sitter off the website if you wish to do so. Definitely no obligation as I'm doing a job I love 🙂MadPaws 🐾 is extra fundraising for my own older dog's comfort & vet bills.

*As stated previously I'm raising funds for my 11 y.o. Husky's Vet bills, so any amount of pet sitting, or dog walking is much appreciated :)

*I don't charge a seasonal or puppy surcharge. I don't mind breaking my 4+ rule so a litter of pups is fine too, assisting & supervising mothers care isn't a problem.

*Same goes for a Working dog(s) team, as they're bonded and'll have sorted out their respective pack order, just need instructions on petsonal feeding & care requirements of the packmates.
