Since I was a little girl, I have had a strong attachment to animals. I grew up on a country farm with my family value of treating our pets like members of the family. I had so many pets growing up, but I can remember them all as they are the reasons why I love animals so much. I got my first dog when I moved away from home, A Staffy named Effie. After tragically having to put her down at the age of two, I decided from then on that I would adopt. I now have a dog (Bandit) and a cat (Heineken), both adopted.
For a long time, I wanted to be a Vet Nurse and did some work experience at my hometown vet. I have also looked into starting my own pet sitting business, but now am studying at university to be a Counsellor. I still want to incorporate animals into my life as they are one of my great passions, so looking after some gorgeous fur-babies and making life a little easier for their owners seems like a great way to do it.
I have experience with caring for various types of animals, young and old, and am comfortable with little ones, or senior babies. I am comfortable administering medications and have experience with illness, and injury. I am also well versed in bad behaviour and have developed some useful techniques that helped with my gremlins. I have looked after friends and family’s pets with great feedback.
Your fur-baby will be cared for like my own, and up-dates while your away are promised and plenty at your request. I will ask about your pet parenting style as I understand the importance of consistent parenting in forming good habits and behaviours. I am flexible and reliable, my experience and love for all animals guarantees your pet will be in good hands!
