About Amarina James and Tom Matheson

Tom and I both grew up in a house full of pets. We have cared for many friends and families pets and homes in the past. Tom's sweet boy Jasper, a border collie mix, passed a few months ago. Towards the end of Jasper's life, he was diagnosed as blind and diabetic. Tom learnt how to administer insulin and provided a special diet with medication to Jasper twice a day. We also learnt techniques to help with Jasper's blindness so he could still enjoy the little things in life, like chasing a ball and walking off lead in leash-free areas.

We hope to care for your pet/s either in our own home or in your home. Tom would be primarily at home with your pets working (40+ hrs/week); I study hybrid - half the time at home and half the time at university.

From mid-November, we will be based in Hobart. I have an opportunity to work locally at CSIRO Hobart for three months as an ecologist, and Tom will work from home there....

Cancellation: Moderate

A full refund will be offered to Pet Owners if they cancel up until 7 days before the booking at 12 noon. After which Pet Owners will be charged 50% of the total booking value.
