Hi my name is Natasha! I'm a 24 year old Animal Behaviourist graduate. I am currently Mona Vale Petstock's puppy trainer and a high school biology educator.
I live at home with my parents, my brother, one rescue cat, 5 bee hives and 12 stick insects! I love all animals big and small. Animal conservation and welfare are extremely important to me.
I have 5 years experience in animal husbandry as well as my first aid certificate, canine obedience training, RIC (response and immediate care of animals) certificate and a police check.
Why Do I Petsit?
I have previously worked as a kennel hand at my local vets and various dog hotels on the northern beaches, where I would tend to cats and dogs. Some pets are better suited for this than others.
Dogs that aren't suited for it include elderly dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, rescue dogs and dogs who aren't very social. Because of the huge number of dogs the staff have to look after, these dogs are often overlooked. It was very distressing to work there and I wanted to offer a nicer alternative. I know firsthand how hard it can be to find a carer you can trust to keep your pet/pets stress free.
No shy, old or anxious pet/pets should be left at the vets or pet hotel when there is a cheaper/stress-free option. My fees are negotiable and I'm happy to be a regular for anyone close by! :) ...
