Having grown up with dogs ranging from small to large, and always enjoying the energy they bring, as well as occasionally caring for neighbours cats, I've developed a passion for caring for pets and confidence in handling energetic, strong, or high-exercise breeds of dogs. I believe a pet-sitter should thoroughly understand specific requirements for each pet, for example the discipline, brain activities, physical needs etc that the pet requires for consistent health. Especially living with a dog that developed cushings disease, I learnt how to give him tablets, apply topical cream, and monitor appropriate amounts of exercise and consumptions.
As an organised person, I will ensure appropriate communication before and during pet-care. With my background in running and triathlon, I'm an active person who can walk or run dogs over a long distance if required. I attend university 3 days a week (usually mid mornings), and have training in the afternoons. Outside of these commitments I'm very flexible and able to provide attentive pet care. Whilst I cannot host let's, I am happy to drive to houses near Nundah for pet-sitting, dog walking, or overnight stays.
