Hi, I’m Ashley, a work-from-home dog host who genuinely loves caring for animals and making them feel safe, loved, and at home. After spending 13 wonderful years with my own Golden Retriever, Jax, I missed having a dog around the house — becoming a dog host allows me to share that love and provide the same level of care to other families’ beloved dogs.

Because I’m home all day, your dog will enjoy constant companionship, supervision, and a relaxed, unhurried environment. My home is especially well suited to small-medium dogs and senior pets who prefer a calm routine, gentle attention, and plenty of time to rest. I offer a comfortable indoor space with access to a secure backyard for supervised outdoor time.

Your dogs are welcome indoors at all times — whether that means curling up on the couch or sleeping on the bed if that’s what they’re used to. I also have two primary-school-aged children in the home who are kind, gentle, and respectful of animals, and love sharing quiet cuddles and age-appropriate playtime.

🐾 Frequently Asked Questions
🏡 Where will my dog stay?
Your dog will stay inside my home as part of the family. They’re welcome on the couch and can sleep on the bed if that’s what they’re used to.

📝 Are you fully insured?
Yes. I maintain my own pet business insurance, providing an additional layer of protection and demonstrating my commitment to operating a professional, trustworthy pet hosting service.

👀 Will my dog be left alone?
Very rarely. I work from home, so dogs have near-constant supervision and companionship throughout the day.

🐕 What types of dogs do you best care for?
I’m especially well suited to small-medium & senior dogs who prefer a calm, home-based environment. I also welcome sibling cats.

🧒 Are there children in the home?
Yes — I have two primary-school-aged children who are gentle, respectful, and accustomed to being around animals. Interactions are always supervised.

💊 Can you give medication or follow special routines?
Absolutely. I’m happy to administer medications, follow special diets, and stick closely to your dog's usual routine.

🌿 Is there outdoor space?
Yes — I have a secure backyard for supervised outdoor time, toilet breaks, and gentle play.

📸 Will I receive updates?
Of course! I’m happy to send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your dog is happy and settled.

🐕‍🦺🐕 How many dogs can you care for?
I can care for up to two dogs at a time, provided they are from the same household. This helps ensure all dogs receive my full attention, maintain a calm environment, and feel comfortable being with familiar companions.
