Hi!
My name is Alessandra, I am an Italian girl, but have been living in Australia for the past 3 years, and for all of these years I have been living with a family as the au-pair / house-sitter / pet nanny. Recentely I moved to my own place in Darlinghurst, where unfortunately I can't host furry little friends.
I genuinely love animals; my family always owned pets, and I have loved looking after all our dogs, cats, bunnies, birds, guinea pigs, reptiles and more as I grew up.
When I was living in China (around 3 years ago), a friend’s work colleague asked me to look after their home and their two cats when they went away, which was every 2 weeks or so: they must have been happy with me, as I continued this regular housesitting for them right through until the week I left China.
I have lots of experience walking animals. Not just in my years back in Italy, but also when living in Perth: I was walking dogs for neighbours and friends every week.
I am very trustworthy, honest, caring, reliable, practical, clean and tidy. I can provide references upon request, from the people whose home, children, cat and dog I looked after most recently (June 2018).
Of course, I love animals, but am also aware of the importance of discipline when caring for pets. So I am caring, but not a pushover.
But the best way for you to see that this is all true, not just words on a page, is to talk with me and discuss what you need. For me, the goal is to enable people to leave their home and not have a reason to be concerned for even one second, the entire time they are away.
