About Rochelle

I am an international student from the Philippines and I am a dog lover. It started 6 years ago when I had my first pet - my first dog. I didn’t know how to take care of him, but I knew from the day he came home with us that he would change my life forever. Because he saved me. He helped me find a purpose in my life and he made me realize that I am able to take care of another living being. That’s Jäger (shih-tzu) and he’s my first bestfriend. 2 years later, he met his wife, named Blair (shih-tzu), and we couldn’t be much happier. Years passed and I also met the love of my life, he had four dogs then, but now remains only three. So, together we have 5 dogs of different breeds! There’s Chewy - a shih tzu-poodle mix, Riri - a Japanese spitz, and Tommie - a beagle. I am very hands on with them and I treat them like family. Sometimes I feel like they don’t think of themselves as dogs, they think of them as our own kind and that’s okay with me. Now, that I am a student here, I miss them terribly, especially because this will be the longest time that I will be away from them. So, I hope that with my stay here in Australia, I would be able to meet and take care of new furry friends that I could tell to my babies back home. I guarantee that they will receive all the love, care, food, and cuddles that every dog should deserve. I am also a pharmacist in my country that’s why I know something about medications and how to give it to dogs. Thank you! 😊...
